Here you can safely report infractions and acts of corruption or related infractions under the terms set out in the General Regime for the Protection of Whistleblowers of Infractions, approved by Law no.
What is the reporting channel?
The reporting channel is an online platform for recording and handling complaints, being an essential tool for detecting all types of corruption irregularities and related infractions.
What can be reported?
In particular, complaints relating to facts related to acts of corruption and related infractions, or any irregularities or illegalities committed at Fábrica de Tintas 2000, S.A., will be considered. Corruption and related offenses are understood as crimes of active and passive corruption, improper receipt and offer of advantage, embezzlement, economic participation in business, concussion, abuse of power, malfeasance, influence peddling, money laundering or fraud in obtaining or embezzling subsidy, subsidy or credit.
What are the essential elements of the complaint?
The complaint must essentially ensure the following elements:
- A brief, objective and clear description of the facts subject to the complaint;
- Indication of the places and dates of occurrence of the facts;
- Who is involved in the facts with an indication of the identity(ies) and functions of the people involved by suspicion or authorship and who most knows the facts (potential witnesses);
- Sending evidence of the facts reported or how to obtain them.
How will the complaint presented be handled?
The complaints presented will be subject to technical analysis by the complaints channel manager, who may:
- Archive due to absence of illicit act or lack of evidence that allows the investigation to continue;
- Forward the complaint to the internal department or competent external entities (administrative, investigative or judicial);
What protection is granted to the whistleblower?
Confidentiality regarding the whistleblower's identity is guaranteed, in accordance with article 18 of Law no. 93/2021, of December 20, unless legally required or court decision. When processing the complainant's personal data, the provisions of article 19 of Law no. 93/2021, of December 20, will be observed. The whistleblower benefits from the protection and support measures and, as well, the guarantees provided, respectively, in articles 22 and 23 of Law no. 93/2021, of 20 December. The whistleblower also benefits from the liability regime provided for in article 24 of Law no. 93/2021, of 20 December.
